From the Top End to Tassie, all of us want clean, healthy oceans full of life. Yet our government is allowing harmful plastic pollution to flow into our oceans at an alarming rate, and it’s entangling and suffocating turtles, dolphins and whales.
As stewards of an incredible marine natural heritage, Australia can and should be leaders in stopping plastic pollution at the source.
You can help by sending a letter to the editor demanding action to ban single-use plastics.
By going to the source and putting the brakes on plastic production – starting with a national ban on single-use plastics – our rivers, oceans and beaches will once again be clean, healthy, and free of plastic pollution. That’s what they need and deserve.
