EPA - Reject Woodside! Save Scott Reef

Teeming with unique and endangered marine life, the remote reefs and lagoons of Scott Reef are a haven for nesting sea turtles, whales, dolphins and many other species of endangered wildlife.

But Woodside Petroleum wants to drill this important ecosystem for a massive gas and oil project – planning to build 54 oil & gas wells! We cannot let irreplaceable marine habitats and wildlife be put at risk from the spills, industrial noise, pollution and heavy shipping that comes with dirty marine fossil fuel extraction.

Even worse, this immense extraction from the Browse Basin and Burrup hub would result in colossal carbon emissions. It would be one of the most polluting fossil fuel projects in the world!

You can help spare our wildlife from this immense, polluting project.

Public comment closes Wednesday 12 February. Add your name to the letter calling on the WA Environmental Protection Authority to reject Woodside’s reckless oil & gas proposal!
