It boasts treasures like remnant kelp forests, the Great Southern Reef, majestic blue whales, agile bluefin tuna, and ancient deep-sea corals.

Only 8% of these waters are protected.

Rapidly warming waters, combined with overfishing and the activities of the oil and gas industry, have created a perfect storm of decline in this area, demanding an urgent response.
