Object to weakening of national environment laws

We have just 24 hours to object to the Morrison Government’s plan to weaken Australia’s environmental laws.

Our oceans face more challenges than at any other time in human history. Record ocean temperatures are hurting our magnificent Great Barrier Reef, and iconic Aussie wildlife like sawfish, dugongs and dolphins are threatened by unsustainable fishing and coastal development.

We must fix these laws and save our endangered ocean wildlife – before it is too late.

But time is running out. The Morrison Government is trying to remove national environmental protections and devolve protections to the weaker State and Territory environmental laws.

The Senate Inquiry ends on Wednesday 18 November 2020.
