For more than 50 years, AMCS has been Australia’s only national charity dedicated solely to protecting our precious ocean wildlife – a community of ocean lovers across the nation working for healthy seas.
Your donation provides general support to the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) – the voice for Australia’s oceans. AMCS works on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife. We have protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, led the movement to ban whaling, stopped super trawlers, and protected threatened and endangered species. Together, our community of ocean lovers save our oceans every day.
Are these tax deductible?
Yes, all AMCS Virtual Gifts are 100% tax-deductible donations in Australia. A tax receipt will be emailed or posted to you shortly after your donation (please ensure you enter address details correctly).
Can the receipt be in the recipient’s name?
No, unfortunately. For legal reasons we can only issue receipts in the name of the person or organisation that makes the payment.
