Thank You Bilambil!
From the bottom of our deep blue hearts – thank you so much Bilambil Public School 2025 Class 6B!
Throughout the last two terms of 2025 the class undertook a class project about our ocean and the threats it faces. They raised $1,700 for marine conservation!
This continues a yearly tradition of creative crafting, holding a sale, and donating the proceeds.
For this project, members of the class created:
- Recycled, tie-dyed bags, to reduce single use plastic.
- Macrame driftwood pieces.
- Skateboard decks as hat and bag hangers!
- Gum nut Christmas decorations.
- Computer games about plastic pollution in our ocean.
- One student even made a table!
We are so grateful to the students of 6B, and your wonderful community. Thank you for learning about this important topic, for your beautiful and thoughtful creations, and for raising important funds to protect the ocean.
