Meet Nadine
“Connecting people with nature through art and science.”
This is what Nadine Schmoll cites as a deep passion when asked. Nadine is an artist and environmental educator and has been a Sea Guardian for more than half a decade.
Working on Lady Elliot Island in the Great Barrier Reef many years ago, this experience sparked a lifelong journey of listening, observing and learning from the more-than-human world.
Nadine offers great wisdom as an individual wanting to make a difference. “You don’t have to do everything perfectly to help our oceans. Just choose one thing—something small even—and do it with care and commitment.”
While also understanding the power of people being connected and organised. Nadine says, “Our oceans need a strong voice to protect them. Supporting AMCS is one way I can contribute to meaningful, positive change.”
