Meet Gordon
Gordon, based in Scotland, was compelled to become a Sea Guardian with AMCS, after visiting several times with his wife.
Gordon is passionate about marine biology. Citing his great love for and interest in Australia’s native wildlife.
For ten years, Gordon worked at a local aquarium, educating people of all ages about marine conservation.
“I believe that educating young people, especially about all aspects of environmental care, is critical for the future well-being of our planet.”
He continues, “organisations such as AMCS play a pivotal role in getting this message across.”
Now semi-retired, Gordon is cataloguing his natural history collection of over 50 years. He is also researching marine animal venoms, especially cone snail species.
Thank you so much Gordon for your passion and ongoing support of Australia’s marine wildlife.
