Comedian and AMCS Ambassador Kirsty Webeck launched the Reef Coral Clearance Sale in May.
Performers modelling colourful coral costumes were sold off by Kirsty in the heart of Sydney.
The display brought colour and fun to Sydney’s CBD – with an important message.
Some of the Great Barrier Reef’s most rare and unique corals are being harvested for sale to private aquariums overseas.
The Queensland Coral Fishery continues to take up to 190 tonnes of coral off the Great Barrier Reef every year for the global aquarium trade.
We sincerely thank the more than 11,000 ocean lovers who have signed our petition calling for an end to coral harvesting on the Great Barrier Reef.
