Of Sowing and Reaping by Nadine Schmoll
Bales of Queensland sugarcane lie in a minimalist landscape of yellow and blue sky, with lines raked in the surrounding sand like a field. This work provides a space for contemplation and reflection of the complexities and challenges within the agricultural industry, between human productivity and profit, and our environment. What seeds can we sow to reap a future that balances the needs of both humans and nature?
