The Australian Marine Conservation Society is the voice for Australia's oceans. We are an independent not-for profit charity. We deal with the big issues concerning the sea, working on behalf of the community to protect marine wildlife, tackle the major threats to the marine environment and create marine sanctuaries, places in the sea where our wildlife is safe from harm. Make a difference as you use your outstanding fundraising skills to protect Australia’s oceans. We are looking for an experienced, all-round fundraiser to join our team and support our marine conservation work by leading our fundraising, individual donor and supporter programs.
Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Location: AMCS National Office, Brisbane or Sydney Office (with flexibility for the right candidate).
Salary: Dependent of skills and experience; includes leave benefits and 9.5% superannuation.
Hours: Part-time 3 days (22.8 hours) per week.
Contract period: Initial 1 year contract with a view to extension.
Reporting: The Fundraising Manager reports to the CEO.
- Implement the existing fundraising strategy to maximise donor and income growth.
- A hands on direct marketing specialist, manaing a full suite of existing fundraising programs including direct mail, regular giving, major gifts and philanthropy, digital fundraising and bequests.

As the Australian Marine Conservation Society’s Marine Campaign Coordinator your job is to be a catalyst for change – building support for the protection of the Top End’s marine environment.
Job Title: Marine Campaign Coordinator (Northern Territory)
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience.
Hours: Full time (38 hours/week), some weekend and out of hours work required.
Contract period: This is a one year contract starting in March 2017, with potential to extend subject to funding.
Lead the delivery of the Keep Top End Coasts Healthy campaign.
Work with the community, stakeholders and government to deliver long term protection of the Northern Territory’s marine environment.
