Save Our Sanctuaries – Join us for a fun morning of beach action at Parsley Bay!
Together, let’s call on our politicians to better protect our ocean from Byron Bay to Batemans Bay!
Our unique marine life and habitats are under threat.
The NSW Government has wound back protections to marine sanctuaries since 2013 & communities are concerned that more cuts are on the way. Sanctuaries are magical places, the highest level of protection found inside marine parks.
What to bring? Colourful banners, cool costumes or props like surfboards or floaties, mask & snorkel, sunscreen, a hat, and a ton of fun.
What to expect? Music & arts and crafts for the kids and the young at heart (starts 8am), inspirational and interesting talks (starts 9am), and come together for a colourful crowd photo.
