Urge the Northern Territory to ban single-use plastics

The Northern Territory government is asking for your feedback on whether they should ban single-use plastics.

Right now, our turtles and local wildlife are being killed by plastic pollution in our oceans. Already over half of all turtles have plastic in their stomachs.

The NT Government has proposed a ban on single-use plastics as part of their draft Circular Economy Strategy, but they intend to wait until 2025 to do it.

2025 is not good enough, when our turtles are being killed by plastic today.

Public feedback is open until 14 February – have your say today!
