Jervis Bay Brewing Co. was founded six years ago by four mates who shared two things: a love of great beer and a deep belief that business could and should be a force for good. Sure, we were always going to brew quality beer — that was a given — but from the very beginning, our real purpose was clear: to make our corner of the world a better place.
Before we even opened our doors, we set our sights on becoming a certified B Corp — a business that balances profit with purpose and puts people, planet, and community at the heart of every decision. We’re proud to say we’ve recently achieved that goal, and it’s helped cement what we’ve always believed: that doing the right thing is good for business and even better for the world around us.
Today, that purpose still drives everything we do. Whether it’s how we brew, how we treat our team, who we partner with, or how we give back — we’re here to do business the right way, in the place we love.

Why have you chosen AMCS as a partner?
We’ve chosen to partner with the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) because we share a deep love and responsibility for the ocean. Jervis Bay is not just our home — it’s our inspiration. From our beers to our brand, the coastline and marine life are woven into our story.AMCS is doing critical work to protect Australia’s unique marine ecosystems, and we want to play a small part in supporting that mission. It’s a natural fit for a brewery that sits on the shores of one of the most pristine marine parks in the country.
We want to help raise awareness and real impact. That means using our platform to spark conversations, inspire action, and support the vital conservation work that AMCS is doing every day.

Why do you celebrate charities?
Because community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe a great brewery doesn’t just serve beer — it serves its people. By celebrating and supporting charities each month through our Charity of the Month program, we shine a light on the organisations making a difference locally and nationally.
It’s our way of saying thank you, giving back, and reminding everyone who visits our taproom that beer can do good — not just taste good.
What’s the story behind the Port Jackson Pale Ale?
Every June, we proudly support the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) as our Charity of the Month — a tradition that reflects our deep connection to the ocean and our shared commitment to protecting it.
This year is a little extra special. AMCS is celebrating 60 years of defending Australia’s oceans, so we wanted to do something more than raise a glass — we wanted to brew one.
Introducing the Port Jackson Pale Ale — a crisp, coastal-inspired beer brewed especially for this milestone. Named after the iconic Port Jackson shark and the waters it calls home, this beer is our tribute to marine life, clean oceans, and the people who fight to protect them.
Every cent of profit from Port Jackson Pale Ale will go directly to AMCS to support their vital conservation work. Because good beer tastes even better when it does some good too.
