Great Barrier Reef Campaign Manager
Lissa is a marine scientist with nearly two decades of experience in ocean conservation, working across research, policy, and advocacy in Australia and internationally.
Her work with the Australian Marine Conservation Society dates back to 2005, where she campaigned for greater protection of the Moreton Bay Marine Park. She holds a PhD in conservation planning and has worked in environmental policy and natural resource management within the Queensland Government.
Her work focuses on connecting science, policy, and public engagement to drive stronger protections for the Great Barrier Reef and deliver meaningful outcomes for marine ecosystems.
She is an avid diver and has dived around the world, but the Great Barrier Reef remains one of her favourite places to be underwater.
