Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Octopus Arms webinar on Wednesday 8 October 2025. It was great to gather with our closest supporters in our virtual pub, and share the story of one of Australia’s most remarkable reefs, Scott Reef.
In this special event, we:
- Heard directly from AMCS CEO Paul Gamblin about the urgent threats facing Scott Reef.
- Enjoyed an exclusive screening of Corals’ Last Stand, featuring Tim Winton, showing what’s at stake for this fragile ocean wonder.
- Took part in an insightful Q&A with Corals’ Last Stand filmmaker Andre Rerekura, who brought us behind the camera lens of this moving film.
Here is the recording of the webinar for those that wish to rewatch, or if you were unable to attend on the night.
Defend Scott Reef – Before It’s Too Late
Scott Reef is a fragile ocean wonder that needs protection. It supports more than a thousand species, including reef-building corals and fish, endangered turtles and sea snakes, and migratory whales, including the endangered pygmy blue whale. But this spectacular reef is under threat from fossil fuel polluters. We need your help to Save Scott Reef.
Standing up for Scott Reef and our climate has never been more important.
