Writing through eco-grief (workshop)

We fight for our Reef, our forests and wildlife, because we love them. But it can hurt watching the things we love struggling due to threats like climate change and pollution.

Drawing inspiration from environmental and nature poets, this workshop explores the transformative power of creative writing for climate-related distress and grief. This workshop is suitable for anyone from environmental activists, nature lovers, or outdoor enthusiasts who have an appreciation for green and blue spaces. No creative writing experience necessary.

Facilitated by Gabriela Georges from The Grief Cocoon who has supported hundreds of people to process grief and challenging experiences through creativity, using writing, music, and movement. Snacks and materials provided.
