At a time when Australia should be winding down fossil fuel operations, seismic blasting, new gas developments, and carbon dumping proposals are advancing into some of our most ecologically significant waters — including Scott Reef, a spectacular coral wilderness home to nearly 1,000 species.
Across the country’s coasts , powerful industry interests are seeking new permits, testing approvals, and long-term carbon pollution dumping in fragile marine ecosystems. Without decisive intervention, these projects risk locking in decades of ecological damage and climate harm.
