Last summer the Reef endured its fourth mass bleaching event since 2016, off the back of the hottest December sea temperatures on record. It’s heartbreaking to see the effects of ocean warming on our iconic Reef… but it’s not too late to change things. With the Reef’s World Heritage status under the global spotlight – now is the time to turn the tide for our Great Barrier Reef.
Your donation will help us to work with Reef tourism operators and regional Queensland communities who rely on the Great Barrier Reef, to have their voice heard in calling for Reef safe climate policies. In the leadup to the 2024 Queensland election, this public pressure has enormous power to create change.
