The Moreton Bay region within which this event takes place is full of extraordinary marine life, and is a region which AMCS is deeply connected to, with some of our earliest work conducted in the area, right back to 1965.
AMCS continues to work in this region to protect our precious marine environments for future generations. AMCS continue to advocate for gillnet-free zones in Moreton Bay to protect threatened species such as dugongs, dolphins and turtles.
