Ningaloo and Exmouth Gulf are beacons of hope that must be protected
Western Australia is incredibly special, yet its extraordinary qualities remain relatively undiscovered.
Biodiversity is declining and marine species face extinction. We are working to establish more marine parks and protection for WA’s incredible marine wildlife.
We’ll launch a strong campaign ahead of the March 2025 WA election. We will use the best available scientific evidence to urge the WA government to expand marine protection to priority areas in the next term.
2024 will be one of the most important years in history for Ningaloo-Exmouth Gulf, as will the 2025 election for WA’s marine environment. Chip in to help defend and protect our extraordinary Western coastlines.
Invest $120,000 in 2024 to defend our Western coastlines.
- $30,000 will support an independent assessment of priority at-risk WA marine wildlife and effective bycatch reduction strategies and technologies.
- $50,000 will support a billboard and digital campaign to apply additional pressure on decision-makers to protect Exmouth Gulf, Ningaloo from industrialisation.
- $40,000 will support the creation of spectacular short videos and photographs for social media, media, and advocacy that inspire the community and leaders to protect lesser-known but priority WA marine areas and species.
