We’re in the fight of our lives to protect our marine life and we need your help!
Australia’s nature laws are broken but with your support together we can take action to protect and restore species and habitats under threat.
We’re in the fight of our lives to protect our marine life and we need your help!
Our nature laws are outdated, weak and broken. This leads to decisions that favour industries over nature protection and restoration.
Without urgent action we face the very real threat of the extinction of another marine species on our watch. Once lost, they could be lost to the planet forever.
Law reform is challenging work. We’re up against powerful and vested interests with deep pockets and significant political influence.
You can help by investing in this once-in-a-generation chance to strengthen Australia’s nature laws.
We are seeking to raise $240,000 in 2025 to secure the passage of legislation that will properly work to protect and restore our precious wildlife and habitats under threat. Your donation will support these urgently needed activities:
- Advocacy for stronger legislation to protect and restore Australia’s marine life and habitats.
- Engagement with decision-makers to provide recommendations on the reforms needed to address the threats to our oceans.
- Empowering communities to engage with decision-makers and the legislative process.
- Advice on how to ensure the threats facing our marine species are adequately resourced into the future.
All donations over $2 are 100% tax-deductible. The projects featured in the Funding Prospectus are priority campaign activities and needs for which we are urgently seeking funds – current at the time of posting or going to press. As time progresses, there may be some cases in which the project you have selected may already be fully funded. In that instance, we would be delighted to discuss where the need is greatest at the given time. All of our campaigns work in symbiotic support of our mission to protect our oceans. Please be assured your gift will go to work to be the voice for Australia’s oceans, working on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife.
