We need your help to send a delegation of Aboriginal Traditional Owners and marine campaigners to the International Marine Protected Areas Congress (IMPAC5) in Canada this February. This congress is a global meeting to inform and inspire action on marine protected areas.
Your donation will allow Marine Parks Manager, Adele Pedder, to lead your AMCS delegation and support Indigenous rangers to lead the way in caring for their sea country.
So far we’ve raised the funds to enable three First Nations delegates to attend, but we need another $10,000 to get our supporting team there.
Please support our delegation to the world’s leading marine protected areas congress. First Nations people have responsibly managed Sea Country for millenia. Their knowledge and leadership is essential in the fight to protect Australia’s oceans.
