This art print was created by artist Susi Blackwell in 1990, to highlight the need to save our seas. “Stop polluting our waterways. Open our eyes to our actions. Stand up for our future.” At the time AMCS was known as the Australian Littoral Society.

AUSTRALIAN LITTORAL SOCIETY – Collaborating artists
The early 90s saw a spotlight on wetlands, looking to the Brisbane River and Moreton Bay regions.
In 1995 the Australian Littoral Society was renamed the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
The late 90s saw Aussie ocean lovers take to the international stage on issues such as fisheries, seagrasses and marine protected areas.
Thank you very much to Susi Blackwell for supporting our oceans with this wonderful print, and endorsing it’s reuse here.
💙 All proceeds go directly to our critical work to protect Australia’s precious ocean wildlife💙
