NT Marine Community Campaigner
Anastasia is a Community Campaigner in Darwin working on AMCS’s the Keep Top End Coasts Healthy campaign.
Anastasia has an Honours degree in environmental sociology from the University of Sydney. Before joining AMCS, she worked as Knowledge Translation Officer at the Sydney Environment Institute, where she communicated the Institute’s environmental research to the broader public. She has also worked as a research assistant on projects looking at the history of First Australian activism for land rights and a project assessing the health and wellbeing impacts of climate change in NSW.
Anastasia has been a passionate advocate for environmental issues since she was a child and is excited to work for AMCS because she can work on issues she is passionate about such as climate change, biodiversity protection, and plastic pollution.
